M.A.L.T is a theatremaker, playwright, and visual artist who works in watercolor/inks, photography, and clay. They are fascinated by unusual forms, vibrancy, texture, and urgency, and embrace the messiness of “process” in each of their chosen mediums, resulting in work that feels “Interrupted” rather than “Finished.” M.A.L.T.’s work lives in the intersection between whimsical and the grotesque. As a clay artist, they allow the character of their ceramic pieces to reveal themselves in all their imperfect glory.
Thus, M.A.L.T. remains present with each medium, enjoying moments of surprise and discovery as they lean into the story each piece wants to tell.
